Not to be confused with Rising Acid (Classic).
Rising Acid! Each breakable part will be burned, touching those burned parts will deal 7 damage, even when the disaster is over. The acid rise up pretty high, but a very low chance your body parts will disintegrate.
Rising Acid is a disaster that has lasting effects after the disaster ends (others include Bullet Bill, Redcliff Warriors, Korblox Mages, Illumina, etc.), in which any block the acid touches becomes rusty and acidic, and touching a block with that texture deals 7 damage a second. If any part of your body touches the Rising acid, they have a chance to disappear. If said disappearance happens to the head or torso, the player will die instantly. It is recommended to stay on high ground, away from the acid.
- If you survive this disaster but you have touched the acid, your body (parts) might become rusty, even though it doesn't affect gameplay.
- In older versions, the memo of rising acid was glitched. Even after the player has collected it, it wouldn't appear in your memo inventory. This has been fixed.
- In Survive The Disasters 4 (April Fools 2018), the Disaster warning was renamed to “acid”.
- There is a low chance for the acid to actually burn out your parts.
