The map takes place in a graveyard, surrounded by large pine trees in the background. There are dead trees, pumpkins, and a few notable spooky-themed objects, including a haunted mansion at the back of the map. The terrain is overall flat, being elevated on both left and right sides. All map parts have the classic stud texture. The lighting is overall neutral, with a brown color being remarkable in the map's layout and skybox.

- Spooksville received a big makeover as of Version 41.5, simplifying the map's layout and adjusting the lighting.
- Its Crimson theme was also disabled after this update.
- Spooksville's current version was inspired by Telamon's Mansion, a classic BrickBattle experience created by game developer Shedletsky in 2007.
- Spooksville's original version was a redesign of a classic map called "Halloween", from the prequel Survive The Disasters! Classic.
- In Spooksville's original version, an easter egg involving the bell tower in the church structure was available during the April Fools 2017 event. If players used Electric, Silver or Black Ninja Stars and fired them at the bell tower, a secret ringing sound would play.
- Spooksville's Orange theme is disabled in Survival Of The Fittest
