Survive The Disasters 2: Corrupted or [CORRUPTED] Survive The Disasters 2 (place name) was previously an April Fools joke in 2015, which made it a different version of the game, where randomized decals, meshes and models would be used. After then, the game was made a place used for testing purposes by Vyriss, while being public to players.
Hardcore Testing
In January 3, 2019, the game was opened as a demo build for the upcoming Hardcore Mode, at the time still in development. During this build of the game, players were freely able to play and test Hardcore Mode; this was an attempt by Vyrisso gain feedback and fix major bugs that could have been found, during the few weeks the game was opened for.
Current Game
Currently, [CORRUPTED] Survive The Disasters 2 has been made privated and renamed to SD2 TESTING SERVER, being primarily used for the development of the upcoming game remaster, being rebranded to Survive The Disasters!. Players can no longer access it, out of occasional testing phases, announced by Vyriss themselves, to test new features and report bugs.
Trivia
- During the Hardcore Mode testing phase, removed features such as the Green Hill Zone and 2D Disasters - Fire Breath, Hammer Eggman - could have been seen. They were not present in the final version of Hardcore Mode (after the Version 39 release).
- There have been five total testing phases for Version 42 on the current build of the game.
